Bloodlock Race Characteristics

NAME OF RACE: Bloodlocks
MAIN CHARACTERS:

"Parapax"; Long bloodlocks like damien marley. Overseer with powerful mental abilites (farsight, energy ball, heal). Mastery of plasma-rifles. Mixed martial arts fighting style.

"Hyperpax"; Short bloodlocks covering his head and some random places on his body. Freedom Fighter with a fast and powerful physical prowess. Can see at night and pump up troops around him. Jumps long distances and very fast running. Has a shock-hit fighting style.

etc. etc.

UNDERLINGS/MINIONS:

Some look like goblins and are techical with plasma pistols and rifles. Lightweight armor and helmets. Some telepathic abilities. many have long bloodlocks. Fast/quick with jumping abilities and shock-hits. Some have shields. take damage easily and can only lightweight compete with humans in a hand to hand fight due to their small stature.

Some look like orcs or uruks from lord of the rings. Some have long hair and most have shields and ax/sword like weapons and helmets. Tough skin and ability to absorb damage. Some have big heads and some telepathic abilities. Some carry plasma guns. bigger than a regular human.

Some are shamans with some telepathic abilites like energy blast, heal, pump up, focus energy, farsight, pressure blast etc and some carry plasma-rifles and sniper rifles. kind of mix between both of the above minions in stature.

Change Of Ideas

Ok so basically it has been kinda hard to figure out the story so I thought that if I add a few things in it will make it better. I don't think we should have Earth in the game becuz it takes away from the whole story. I was thinking it would be best if we had the vamps and the bloodlucks be rivals or something. Also I wanna new name for the mutants cuz I want them to be there own species. A title for the game that I thought could be Holocaust Nova think it would be tight I was bout to just post words that you guys might get ideas from but I guess that would be to hard.


thing we need to do next:

• gang and clan names
• past wars- one between humans and hybrids/religious and bloodlocks/ mutants and vamps
• new charaters make them for the races that we r low in now
• how they dress- armor, no armor, etc
• anything unique about them and all the other stuff we went over for the other characters
• landmarks in cities and the villages
• zoning of races and gangs
• transportation- bikes, animals, shahab wants a dragon haha

I think that will hold you guys off for a while so basically just work on those for now then we can work on past history or anything else you may want to add in. And Alex I was thinking we should throw a couple of pictures on this.

Bloodlock Names

First of all let me start off by saying that the name for the whole race of forest-dwellers doesn't have to be called bloodlocks... ummm they could be called something else with a bloody theme, possibly in another language word for blood like a celtic language like gaelic (damanta maith, fuilteach etc. cause theres so many words in the language for blood) a combination or a variationwould becool too. The bloodlocks themselves could be acultural group within the race, possibly the warriors.

On Customization

I feel like the game should be as customizable by the user as possible and easily updatable and easy to add new races, climates, models, skins, heroes etc for the online community.

Camera System

There will be a unique camera system with a new unique command list to go with it.

The camera modes and command modes are as follows (note that each camera mode has totally customizable commands as well for example you are technically able to command squads from first person mode):

• 1st person: Like any 1st person FPS game with simple commands specifically for single unit combat and simple unit and squad commands such as "ATTACK" "MOVE" "DEFEND" "PROTECT" etc. with simple point and click interface..... thinking of Scrolls of Oblivion or Unreal
  
• 3rd person near: 3rd person near is a 3rd person mode again focused mostly on combat however there are more squad commands with added ease for dragable cursor to select units. Also greater visibility that 1st person. May be easier for small-medium area of effect abilities and also hand to hand combat and throws.... thinking Devil May Cry or Oni
  
• 3rd person far: Similar to 3rd person far except the command list becomes more squad based and ability based for splash damage attacks and large area of effect abilities..... Thinking something like Myth II or Warcraft III
  
• Aerial: Birds eye view with default grid-mode activated. Easy for large area of effect abilities and large squad movements. Only possible with certain special abilities and/or flying cameras or creatures..... Thinking A Bridge Too Far, Sim City
  
• Satellite: Sattelite projected image default with grid mode picture of entire planet. Can be zoomed out to view weather patterns and geography as well as political climate in all regions.... See google earth or sim city
  

Please keep in mind all camera modes are dynamic and it is possible to flow from one to the next or be in between as the HUD will be customizable.

Races

Here is a list of the races for Project PAX.

Comments and suggestions welcome as always

• Humans. The humans that landed on the second pole of PAX have a high technological base from which to build their city with aid from half of the supercomputer from the Prject PAX spaceship.
  

• Vampires/Hybrids. This is what the scientists on the moon were working on. They were still cryogenically frozen upon the landing on PAX but sometime thereafter the landing they were unfrozen, went berserk and wreaked havoc upon the bio-dome, killing all the scientists, but not before a few were able to escape....

• Bloodlocks. These are the evolution of the first 13 to land on PAX. They landed beside a forest and went inside never to return in their natural human form. They entered a living, thinking forest where they evolved rapidly and became almost as one entity with the forest. Their skin grew thick, and lost its color and their veins grew strong and they developed telepathic powers with the help of the forest for evolution.

• Mutants. When the biodome was being over-run by vampires, a group of 26 scientists escaped in a giant solar armored truck/research vehicle. They established a small base around the truck, by some water, and mutated. They have many vehicles and weapons from the original ship as well.
  

A Brief History of Project Pax

After thoughtful deliberation and some changes, here is the historical timeline of the events leading up to the Project PAX story.

• The year is 2056. Earth is on the brink of a global war officially begun by (GMPA the global monetary protection agency(monetary issues, religious issues, business issues ie. businesses are so powerful they overrun governments.) event still unknown)
• A group of 113 of earths finest scientists, astrologists, religious leaders, fighters, media experts, industrial workers, architects etc. leave earth on a spaceship bound for the stars. In particular, a single planet which astrologists and scientists have deemed to be the most likely to sustain human life, lightyears away.
  
• The spaceship is launched from a moon base owned by (some genetic design corporation...) supposedly due to the lower gravity. However in actuality there are also issues of the test projects by the company on the moon and rumors of a new breed of hybridized humans.
• The mission is deemed a success when the crew who has been cryogenically frozen by the ships super intelligent computer awakens in orbit around the planet PAX.
• A small ship of 13 scientists disembarks from the main ship to test the environment for human inhabitents.
  
• The ship splits in to its 2 pieces as was the design, one with a clear, plastisteel bio-dome for continuing the experiments of the moon-scientists, the other, to land later on the opposite pole of the planet, as a base for exploration and tests.
  
• The predictions of the scientists were correct and the environment of PAX were similar enough to earths for a safe and relatively easy landing for both parts of the spaceship and seemingly sustainable for human life.
